School of Medicine - SED Student Consultation for Internal Periodic Review

School of Medicine - SED Student Consultation for Internal Periodic Review

14.12.22 - SED Student Consultation for Internal Periodic Review - 15.00 - 17.00. The School of Medicine has an upcoming Internal Periodic Review (IPR), which are carried out every 5-6 years by the Academic Quality & Standards Division (AQSD) to monitor the quality and standards of University programmes.

As the IPR process is inclusive of students and is student-focused, an important part of this is for students to read and comment on the Self-Evaluation Document (SED) written by the School.

To facilitate this, an online student consultation led by Guild Student Voice Coordinator Emily Atherton will take place on Wednesday 14th December 15.00 – 17.00, where Emily will ask a list of questions about different aspects of the programme.

Student Doctors are invited to register to receive Zoom details and a copy of the SED to review ahead of the meeting.  If you don’t have the opportunity to read the entire document, you may highlight some points for discussion. No staff will be present at this meeting and the commentary will be completely anonymised.
